Escrivá Believes That Pension Spending Is Contained With An Effective Retirement At 67

Escrivá believes that pension spending is “contained” with an effective retirement at age 67.

The Minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, José Luis Escrivá pointed out this Sunday that the retirement age will not exceed 67 years , since the expense is “more or less contained”; and he added that this is due to the foundations laid by the 2011 reform.

However, the minister revealed the “holes” that the old reform presents, among which it stands out “that it slowed the approach of the effective retirement age to the legal age.” To achieve this increase, incentives will be implemented to delay retirement , “so that people who can remain in the job market if they so wish.”
